2023 THE ARGUMENT TASTING NOTES
Two years of spirited debates resulted in a delicious outcome. The Argument espouses Adruni’s belief that struggle creates greatness. Just as our team hashed it out during meetings and among vineyard rows, these grapes found strength in their own rocky, stubborn soils.
This vintage is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon/15% Cabernet Franc and was aged for 22 months in American Oak Barrels (27% new). In the glass, The Argument opens with inviting aromatics that hint at depth to come. The palate reveals blackcurrant and tart cherry, with hints of spice. Nuanced tannins give way to a delightful finish – the closing argument that sparks more conversation.
