2021 TASTING NOTES
2021 was an exceptional year for harvest quality across Sonoma County. A dry, hot summer predominated and gave the year’s grapes the challenge and stressed environment that produces fantastic quality of fruit.
In our 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, subtle aromatics and a deep ruby color give way to a plush, velvety texture, with notes of cherry, plum, and chocolate on the nose. Full-bodied, this rendition of the California Cabernet is versatile, an innate food wine, yet simply delicious being sampled on its own. Supple tannins and a beautiful balance from the season’s ample hangtime leave this wine with a long, nuanced finish and a full bodied richness that will reach its full potential over the next several years.
