2021 CABERNET SAUVIGNON TASTING NOTES
2021 was an exceptional year for harvest quality across Sonoma County. A dry, hot summer predominated and gave the year’s grapes the challenge and stressed environment that produces fantastic quality of fruit.
In our 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, subtle aromatics and a deep ruby color give way to a plush, velvety texture, with notes of cherry, plum, and chocolate on the nose. Full-bodied, this rendition of the California Cabernet is versatile, an innate food wine, yet simply delicious being sampled on its own. Supple tannins and a beautiful balance from the season’s ample hangtime leave this wine with a long, nuanced finish and a full bodied richness that will reach its full potential over the next several years.
2022 CABERNET SAUVIGNON TASTING NOTES
Less rainfall and higher temperatures than average in 2022 resulted in a lower than normal yield. Despite the hardships, the wine that was produced is a captivating, yet limited, vintage, with only 105 cases available. Our 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of cherry, plum, and vanilla in its bouquet that introduce the smooth, deceptively spacious-bodied cab. Beautiful tannins on the finish reveal this wine's robustness, suggesting that this vintage will mature nicely over the next few years.
2022 SAUVIGNON BLANC TASTING NOTES
Sonoma County is a creative community of growers, bottlers, and tastemakers, and we’re excited to be collaborating with one of our neighbors to bring the first Sauvignon Blanc to our collection. Sourced from the vines of Alexander Valley just over the hill from Adruni Vineyards, our new white wine varietal is a traditional California Sauvignon Blanc. It is both welcoming and refreshing, with a lightly floral aroma that gives way to hints of citrus and melon on the palate and finishes with whispers of pear and green apple. Best served chilled, this light, crisp wine can be enjoyed both with food and on its own.
2024 SAUVIGNON BLANC TASTING NOTES
Sonoma County is a creative community of growers and winemakers. For our second release of Sauvignon Blanc, we were once again excited to collaborate with our neighbors just over the ridge in Alexander Valley to source the grapes for this vintage. This wine is light and refreshing with a classic California Sauvignon Blanc bouquet, followed by notes of pear, ripe melon and citrus on the palate. Perfect for enjoying on a warm day, the 2024 is drinking beautifully now and is best served chilled. Bright and crisp, this Sauvignon Blanc can be paired with a light meal or simply sipped on its own.
